
Recently, Mr. Sandy Cheng, Chairman of Global Cargo (Far East) Limited, attended the “Silk Road同心 · Sino-African Carnival Briefing and Joint Meeting,” a key segment of the 4th Hong Kong International Cultural and Creative Expo. The event brought together representatives from Chinese and African communities to explore new horizons for cooperation.

As a longstanding member of the African General Chamber of Commerce in Greater China, Mr. Cheng has been instrumental in fostering bilateral trade and cultural exchanges. Since 2020, he has served as the Vice President of the Chamber, leveraging his extensive experience in international logistics to build a “bridge” for enterprises seeking opportunities in Africa . During his tenure, he has facilitated numerous practical collaborations, such as connecting the Guangdong Poultry Industry Association with agricultural authorities in Ogun State, Nigeria, to promote the export of poultry farming technology and equipment



The briefing session, attended by consular officials, business leaders, and industry experts, focused on the significant opportunities arising from the 70th anniversary of Sino-African diplomatic relations and the “China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges” in 2026. Mr. Cheng actively participated in discussions, emphasizing the role of logistics and commerce in realizing tangible outcomes from these high-level partnerships.

Moving forward, we will continue to support the Chamber’s initiatives in line with the ‘Belt and Road’ policy, helping enterprises precisely connect with African resources and deepen Sino-African collaboration.”
